The cabinet can be used as a material cupboard, a glass material storage cabinet, a laboratory material cabinet or as a file cabinet. It is preferred often in science, biology, chemistry, physics and in many other laboratories. However, it is not suitable for storing chemical materials. Chemical leaks and vapors cause rapid corrosion in these cabinets. For this type of usage chemical storage cabinets should be preferred instead.
